Nepal Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

One of the most popular trek which lies into the foothill of the Annapurna massif. The famous tourist spot Poon Hill is located just 3200m above sea level. This trek offers such a brilliant view of the Himalayan giants which include many popular peaks of Annapurna, the Machhapuchhre (Mt. fish tail) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) On a clear day, it is even possible to see the transcendental valley of the southern side.

Day 01: Arrival In Kathmandu (D)
Upon arrival in Katrhmandu, transferred to hotel for check in. At local time 3.30pm, First, we will visit Bouddhanath Stupa and then Swayambhunath Temple, said to be 2500 years stupa on a hillock, which offers a breath-taking view of Kathmandu City and you will also be able to see the beautiful sunset. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be free to stroll around the busy streets of Kathmandu. Hotel Marshyangdi or similar.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Rafting - Pokhara (BLD).
After breakfast, drive to Rafting point Fishling 3-4Hours rafting, After refating Drive to Pokhara second largest city of Nepal. (On the way you can have an optional Whitewater rafting trip). Alternating between stretches of tranquil floating and thrilling whitewater rapids. Continue drive to Pokhara. Pokhara- this lakeside village holds “ front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayas panoramas in the world. The Annapurnas and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and two days span will highlight the substantial view of natural beauty to our trip. Overnight stay at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara –Drive To Phedi And Trek To Dhampush 1700m (BLD)
After breakfast take short drive to Phedi, which is the initial trekking point, then precede the trek towards Dhampus from there enjoy good view of Annapurna ranges.

Day 04: Dhampush Trek To Landruk 1600m (BLD)
After breakfast at camp start journey to Landruk, lunch will be served on the way. Landruk is habitat of Gurung community. We will get to see their various customs and transaction as well as able to witness close view of Annapurna south and Fishtail “Machapuchare”. Dinner & overnight at Landruk village.

Day 05: Langdruk – Tadapani (2700m)
After breakfast, we’ll start our trek to TADAPANI passing through the Ghandruk village.We will have our lunch at Ghandruk village. After lunch we’ll climb up hill to the Tadapani.Stay overnight at Tadapani.

Day 06: Tadapani–trek Ghorepani 2800m(B/L/D)
Today we walk through the jungle, lunch will be served on the way as usual. After lunch we gradually descend to Ghorepani which is very famous tourist spot. From here we can enjoy close view of Mt.Fishtai,Mt.Annapurna south.

Day 07: Ghorepani – trek to Poon hill 3200 – trek Hile 1200m (B/L/D)
Today we wake up early in the morning and do a short trek to Poon hill for sunrise and various Mountain View. Again we back to Ghorepani then we take our breakfast and continue our journey to Hile. Overnight at camping.

Day 08: Hile Trek To Nayapool-Drive To Pokhara (BLD)
Early morning start walks for about 3 hour up to Nayapool and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 09: Pokhara-Kathmanu- (BLD)
Depart Pokhara to Kathmandu by coach or domestic flight (USD 96 optional). Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Kathmandu –Fly back home (B)
After breakfast, we will depart Kathmandu (Tribhuwan I’ntional airport) for your flight back to home.
